Hoover Convertible 704-A

Here is a scan of a Hoover Convertible 704-A from 1969. Notice the ROUND cord reel. The actual model used a square cord reel. This machine is Persian Gold and was not the top line model, rather a promotional model that used the cheap snap bag and did not even have a handle grip. Why Hoover chose to run this top line feature on a middle of the road machine is a mystery! Enjoy the pic.
