"No Shipping" is quite common on eBay.de (eBay Germany) for large and or heavy items. Think about it the average difference between say Germany and the United States for petrol, and you begin to understand.
Shifting large appliances or such from the EU to the UK is even more of a challenge as it must either cross the channel on a plane, ship or train somehow, even if loaded on to a truck. Of course you are prefectly free to win/purchase an item and have it shipped where ever you wish, long as you're picking up the tab, the owner isn't likely to care.

No, I don't play with mine much. It's in the livingroom. There are actually some parts missing and I'm not very technically inclined either. Whenever someone comes along and has a serious interest in my Hoover I'll be willing to part with it.
