I know this is the wrong site, but I'm not making another Vacuumland account.
I just bought Hoover's new Mach 5 Multi-Cyclonic upright.
I have not used it yet, but I put it together and took it totally apart already (that's the engineer in me).
I have to say, for a Chinese Hoover, this machine seems to be made of much better plastic and higher quality parts than some other vacuums I've seen; including Dyson.
It uses the almost exact cyclonic design as the old Fantom vacuums. In fact, it looks like an evolution of a Fantom machine in Hoover clothing. I'm very impressed with it.
What's neat, and probably gives it the rights to tote the fact that it cleans better than Dyson is it has "Windtunnel Ducting Technology" in the head. If you're not familiar with Windtunnel, it's a brilliant design that channels air through the brush nozzle, and eliminates the rescattering of the dirt on the carpet.
