HOOVER PERCOLATER BOOK ENDS

Has anyone noticed that TV commercial that says 'breakfast will never be the same' and shows appliances being used as coffee table legs and CD holders.

Did anyone notice the bookends? Those are 1971 Hoover Percolators, while every other appliance in the commercial is new. I wonder how that happened.

Were those pots made for a long time, or are they still in face in production, perhaps under another name.

You plug it in. It starts floating, and cleans your countertop while your coffee is brewing lol.

Breakfast is...

The smell and sound of coffee bubbling in the Sunbeam C30C, the faint "click" and the sight of two perfectly toasted slices of bread rising out of the T-35. It's bacon sizzling and the eggs following to pick up the taste of the bacon drippings.

No, this ain't the Waffle house. This is the LeBouef house on Saturday morning. We make an effort to have an OLD FASHIONED breakfast when possible.

Hoover Coffee Pots...

The Hoover coffee perculators go back to 1955! Later in about 1965 they were badged Presto pots. The best ones were the ones that had the red Hoover logo that lit up red when your coffee was done. In the 1970's there were several models before Hoover pulled the plug on housewares for good in 1977.
