Just by the picture, I can readily see why there would be confusion on the model name.
If you unscramble the H-O-O-V-E and R, re-arrange the letters, then add a few and drop a few...... clearly it's a Kenmore.

I've been watching this. It has been on for several weeks and they have really dropped the price.

Got myself one little Kenmore ('Simpsons-Sears') washer spin-dryer, much alike the Hoover pictured above. The Kenmore model came with one water spigot for fill and rinse purposes. Mine's was manufactured in Canada back in the early 1980s. / uj

That's really cool - I didn't know they badged these for Kenmore, don't think we ever saw these here in the US. Something new here every day!
