Hello Everyone

Hope your all well

The other day my parents found the brochure to our old 80's Philips Washing Machine, and I released I now have the brochure's for all the washing machines we've owned except our old Hoover Six (AL120)

I always wanted the brochure for this range anyway, but now even more.

If anyone has a duplicate copy, or a copy they are willing to part with... or even a photocopy, that I can buy then I'd be thrilled.

Let me know if you can help

Cheers
Adam

Hi Adam

Nothing! Prob a colour copy, not to sure if I have a duplicate?
Could you collect? BTW fantastic designs on your fleximax range!
=)

ok cool! Thats fine

Yeah no probs collecting, but I don't have a car at the mo as I'm just in the process of buying a new one... but perhaps I'll drop you another message in a while once I'm sorted and come and get it then... is that ok?

Where are you in Essex?

Thanks! Glad you like it.

Trying to work out what I want to do for the last one... Ultramax... got a few ideas but can't seem to get them right just yet... plus Apple are stoping the web hosting service at the end of june.. so not sure what I'll do then :(

Smack bang in the middle of not so sunny Southend =)
The brochures (there are two versions I have) are at work. It is just off the greyhound estate (Matalan / Mecca) so about 5 mins from Vic shopping center. Any good??
What did you have in mind for the final machine, is it TOL? may have some ideas to share?

Andy

Do you have a Hotpoint brochure duplicate? (WM3* or WM4* series)

If you do, please let me know, as I would like to find out more on the WM41.

Thanks

hotpointfan

No brochure on the WM1/2/3/4 generation, wm5/6/7 yes (incluing casatta range) and a brochure of the final 95 series (expired June 93) I must have got shot of any duplicates, so they would be copies.

If there is anything I can help you with knowledge wise, I remember these machines quite well.

Sorry none, got rid of the duplicates when I decided they would be more use in the office. If you would like a copy?
Andy

Any particular ones you would prefer? (your going to say all of the hotpoint ones aren't you! Lol) any luck in that candy model?

Thought so! Lol can you see my email on my profile? I did contact candy with that code but they did not find. Manufacturers usually work from the build code number. As models can change several times with one model. Well when your ready..... =)

You mean the candy is 26/7 old? There will be an ID label with the wattages etc and the codes i am looking for a photo of. Is your email on here? Sorry not looked.

Sure is, the machine should have a label somewhere.... possibly on the rear, or around the door / cabinet? failing that there will be a label on the motor, with ay luck there will be a candy part number, although this won't help find the latch part code.

Cool! That's great! I didn't realise you were so close
Can you do weekends?

Well... *takes deep breath* on ULTRAMAX I've changed the programmes to:

Towels & Bedding (Big Items)
White Garments
Lights / Universal
Dark Garments
Handwash (+Wool/Silk)

Plus added a Delicates & Fashion button, (compatible with the first 4)... so the programmes will still sense cottons/synths and create a cycle...but then wash normally or on delicately ... So effectively you could select Whites, but also press the Delicates button, and have a program for keeping delicate items like lingerie nice and white!

But, I can't get the layout right.. and my biggest problem I also want to add a total of five "Modes" elsewhere on the machine...

ECO
FAST (as before with "LIBRA")
ALLERGY (as before with "Allergy Rinse")
and the new above mentioned DELICATE/FASHION
plus NORMAL obviously

but mixing all these and the soil levels is making the machines really complicated... and look complicated

Plus.. should I make the modes all individual, or compatible with one another?

For example... ECO and ALLERGY
On one hand its a bit counter intuitive for users to reduce water levels for ECO but then increase them again with ALLERGY... but, I don't want to confine people with allergies to the one setting, I mean what if they want to do a fast wash?

I think I'm going to end up not doing MODES at all and just taking the ALLERGY bit away and labelling it as an ALLERGY RINSE option, so it's clear it only alters the rinse... not wash!... and will be compatible with everything. Then remove ECO completely as they can use the temp selection to reduce the temp and save energy, and just have mix and match FAST and DELICATE options.

Humph!! Decisions...
