best thing to do....since you want to use your current aerator, take yours off, and take it with you....either to Lowes, HomeDepot, or any Plumbing store.....and have them show you the one that matches and fits your areator.....

they may not sell the snap nipple by itself, you may have to take a new aerator with it....

then you are set.....

a simple washer fill hose with one end cut off should fit into that opening on your twintub with ease....

I actually did take my aerator adapter with me, and nothing they had would fit onto it. I could have got a different adapter, but then depending on which appliance I wanted to use, I would have had to screw in the appropriate aerator into my faucet.

I received the coupler in the mail yesterday, and tried it out today. The female end snaps on perfectly to my existing aerator, so I got a laundry hose and cut one end off, and screwed the other end onto the coupler. It is a little loose fitting pushing the hose end into the Hoover, but I will wrap a bit of black electrical tape around the outside of the end of the hose to tighten it up.

The other thing is that the unicoupler on my KDS-58 fits perfectly onto the male aerator section of this coupler, so I replaced it in my sink's faucet and now have a nice bubbly water flow from the tap. I had to take the aerator section out of my old adapter because it contained a water-saver disc, and the dishwasher wasn't getting enough water to fill to the correct level. That made the tap very splashy... now with this aerator, it runs nice again, and there's no water saving so my KDS still fills properly.

See, now what did I tell you?......how easy was that?....congrats....haha, he's on a roll......and glad it all fit for you....and actually you now have better results.....someone is a happy camper!

yeah, for the most part that hose should fit snug, but that can be based on the hose being thick enough, and the port not being so worn as to let a loose fit.....but nothing that a little tape can't fix....

also, we try to stay close to original, but sometimes thats not always possible, and we improvise....and think outside the box....

keep me or MrMaytag/Teddy in mind when you need belts....we have a few solutions

maybe you should have grabbed another snap-couple for use in test situations with other machines that may come along.....just a thought!....

plus, these were inexpensive to boot....

I have 2 Hoover TT's, one with Auto-Rinse, and one without....plus a Maytag A50 and a wringer...so I have several option change outs for each one...yet one aereator!.......the ideas are endless......

I have a Hoover too with the auto rinse feature. If I had an extra hose etc. I would just give it to you. Happy washing. Gary
