My parent had two Keymatic which my father tried to get working (they couldn't afford a washer after buying a house)

Then they got a Electra similar to A3E08 but it had fours buttons as I recall. Economy, Half spin, rinse hold and wool wash.

Does anyone have a picture of that model?

My dad has all the old photos I could try to find the one with that machine.
(I'd give my ASEA and my right arm for one of those but I have a feeling that parts aren't easy to obtain.)

Hi Paul - fantastic thread...amazing detail too! Our next-door neighbours had the 3208, replaced in the early 80s by a Bendix.

Any chance you could start one on Hotpoint autos too?

The 'all white' dryer...

Hoover simply kept the D6228 dryer in production, to match the A3474.
Originally the D6228 dryer was introduced to match the 'all white' A3308 Computer Control 1100.

The final core model dryer was the D6284 Autosense, budget machine.

This model straddled the end of the Electron series and start of the Logics, so appears in both series brochures...

Model A8506 was the Electricity Board Exclusive version...

Model A8512, as with the D6284 Autosense Dryer, straddled the end of the Electron series and start of the Logics and can be found in the first Logic brochures.

The budget Logic washer dryers continued to use this facia style, though they were branded as Logics and not Electrons...

The final exclusives!

None of these machines had a matching dryer and were end of the run machines, though the end of the run lasted through to the early 1990s!

First off was model A3588 Electron 800 Exclusive, for Currys....
