a 704-01 but a 704 with the 704-01 handle. I showed Jeff a picture of it and he said that is what a 704-01 would look like it. I always have my eyes peeled for vacuums!

Some fun finds this past week, a Singer Silver Glide C-9!! Missing the carpet nozzle , duster and upholstery nozzle. The wands are unique in that they look like Eureka but with white button locks and each has a slot for the larger of the two buttons on each wand. Also found a Eureka canned ham, green with the Vibra Beat nozzle. Takes the L style bags.

Thanks for posting Marty!!! Enjoyed the pictures. Love the dark brownish-gold color of the 704; what was the official Hoover color name for this? That 704-01 handle sure is neat, especially the square cord reel! For some reason I half-expected it to be round like the Penncrest models.

The official colors for the 704 is Persian Gold and Seal Griege light and medium. This is from a Hoover Convertible production list provided to the vacuum club by our very own Jeff Parker.
