As long as it's under 200lbs (or is it 100lbs?) UPS will ship most things and they are a reasonable choice. Problem, and I think I can speak for many eBay sellers is who is going to crate/pack the item.
Packing a major appliance so it survives a UPS journey is going to require more than the second hand/USPS Priority Mail boxes most seller use. Suspect this is why many sellers won't bother. Of course they could take it to a MailBoxes Etc, or UPS store, and they will do the packing and shipping, but most sellers dont' want even that much trouble.
Suppose if it were one's dream machine(s), one could travel to the seller's location (fly,drive,train), pick up the unit in a rented U-Haul and ship it back home themselves. That however is allot of work.
Still am interested to see what the original poster has to offer.
