Hotpoint 40" Range

Another wierd thing!!

About GE and Hotpoint ranges of this era, they were 39 inches wide, whereas Norges and Kelvinators were 38 1/2 , My 1955 Norge is 41 1/2, and some kenmores were 411/2 or 42 inches wide!!
