Hey all, well my lovely silver Hotpoint (Bosch made) Ultima dishwasher died for the third time with PCB failure so I set about finding something a bit more vintage that would match my AEG washer. I came across this Hydrocare 7806 machine (Bosch made) on ebay locally and installed it next to the AEG in the kithen. Its a fab machine. Really well made quiet and washes very well. It was a bit of a bugger to plumb in as the cold fill hose wasn't long enough and its fixed well inside the machine so I had to strip it down to replace it taking off the sides and base unit. Now who's idea was that???
Anyway it does a full wash n dry in 62 mins as opposed to over 2 hours for its modern equivilant i've got rid of. Dries really well well with a so called condensor drying system on this version as opposed to residual drying. Someone tell me the difference. It takes 7 place settings and u can shove pans in easily as the upper spray arm is not attached to the upper basket. It also sprays up and downwards with quite some force shifting greasy chip pan grease etc well. I have the brouchure for it too which was an added bonus. The lady i bought it off was not impressed with her latest Hotpoint replacement (Indesit one). she cant get the pans in the same and it takes forever lol.
Now my kitchen is getting quite retro I think that Modern Servis fridge freezer I have is starting to look out of place. lol
