If the machine you want/buy, is too far from your house, to physically collect yourself, I can highly recommend the courier company Get2U, I've used the 04 times in the recent past, Craig, the manager has previously delivered my Hoover Logic, Servis Sapphire Washer Dryer, Bosch Logixx Washer Dryer, & my ex Servis Quartz Mk600.
Craig usually charges £50 to collect/deliver large appliances, he charged £60 for the Sapphire due to it coming from Worthing/below the M25, he'll call both parties i.e. buyer/seller of when he's scheduled the collection & when he'll deliver the item, He gave me the eta for delivery on the day, but every time, he was either 10 or 20 mins earlier than the given time slot.
He asks that a £10 deposit be paid before the job's officially scheduled onto his books, I myself have just paid the entire fee up front, but you can pay the remaining fee upon delivery of the item if you wish.
Anyway, I recommend Get2U, feel free to give them a try, if you want help, if you do try their services, I'll gladly help you to fill the forms out, if you're not satisfied after trying them, you're not forced to use them again.
