So the sun is shining and so I decided to take my wd61 apart to look at one real( elf and saftey not needed as I am watched lol!)

Its harder than I thought-the seal was attached by 2 spring clamps wich were hard enough to remove but today I just finished doing the pump. It stank to high heavan,full of gunge and objects a nail(no lucky pound lol)and other stuff.

well, atleast you have sorted out things that might have become problems in the future

Not quite yet...

The motor brushes need replacing too and the door seal and I suspect more problems will come soon...

Good news & bad news...

Firstly there is no good news but the bad is is that the inlet holes are jammed with gunge? and the pump lastnight dripped and now I own lake flood in my shed!

update 27/6/11

-I am still attacking that old pump. either Ill wash it throgh or replace it.

-the drying fan is catching on the drum case and the ends are all mangled!
