Houston CL Whirlpool washer and '54 Hotpoint electric stove

On the Houston,Tx. Craigs List someone has a Whirlpool washer,looks like one of the last belt drive models,in nice cond. for 75.00 also a '54 Hotpoint electric stove with cookwell, it is the large double door model,the price seems a little steep 475.00 they can be seen Oct. 6th 9-4 @ 1916 Banks St. phone 832-576-8809 I listed the info because I not good at doing that linky thing, I'll try. Here's the picture, lightened for a better view. It appears to be an LHA model, which is 1980. Surely would be nice for a collector if it's in good condition! Belt-drives did go a few years longer. I have a 1985 model.

LOL @ Montrose area. I work right nearby. I use to hit them with friends at least one a month to get my monthly TWIT back in the 80's. LOL

I still have a few copies laying around from the early '80s when I would drive my old Citroen down to Houston from College Station and do the bars. I don't remember Heaven but do recall Numbers, Bablylon, Mary's, and Dirty Sally's, plus of course Baja Sam's restaurant.

Maytagmom, how can Hell be located close to Houston when an old friend of mine in El Paso has been claiming for years that it's right in his neighborhood?
