The sun and and ranin' both alternated about 6 times in two hours.
Heat + Rain + Sune = Steamy, or as I call it MISERABLE!
When I was a small kid my parents had one of those old gray Vornado reversable window fans. They did the same thing. Open one window in each room and have the fan blowing out the kitchen window on full power. It really sucked out the heat and created great airflow. Wonderful for those Chicago hot days and cool nights.
Right now we have a dew point of 72 with a humidity level of 87%! We definitely have the a/c running at 75.
We turn on the a/c at about 80F, or when your feet start to stick to the kitchen floor from the humidity!
