How much for Youngstown cabinets?

I've found some cabinets I like, but the owner wants an offer. I hate that!!

The cabinets are all average to above average condition. The doors are clean, but there's a brushed-on enamel paint job that I would prefer to blast and redo with spray. The brushed-on job isn't bad, but...

Here are the pieces and more or less what I was thinking.

1 sink base (no actual sink) $150
3 base lazy Susans $80 each = $240
3 base double-doors w/drawer $50 each = $150

2 wall lazy Susans $80 each = $160
2 wall double doors $50 each = $100
2 over-fridge double doors $35 each = $70

1 "broom closet"/pantry $50

That's $920. Am I really low-balling this? When I look online I see a crazy range of prices.

I have found them cheaper and more expensive. I would say that $1,000 for 14 cabinets is fair. It is at least a starting point.

Thanks for some insight.

It turns out there are 18 pieces. Add to the above:

1 base single-door
1 wall double-door
2 wall single-door

I suggested $1000. He suggested $1500. My spouse is adamant we don't got about $1000, for a few reasons:

1. We know we're gonna send those doors out to be blasted and re-painted.
2. The countertops are not very good.
3. We'll be spending $300 to move everything to our house.

This might be a post for "As the Tub Turns", since it's more about marital relations than cabinets!!

I'm really stuck. It would be tough to pull 18 good pieces together at one time like this, and it might cost more to buy them separately--especially those lazy Susans. But $1800+ is not a small amount.

Well you are at $1000 and they are at $1500, maybe try for in the middle at $1250. It also depends on how bad you want them or how bad you need them?

Think of how much a cheap set of wood cabinets from Home Depot cost.  At least these cabinets, once painted, will outlast any of the cabinets from Home Depot. The only thing that would come close, would be actual wood cabinets from a custom cabinet maker.
