Hi all, I recently purchased a home that has what I believe to be a Frigidaire model RV-92 "Fold-Back Radiantube Surface Unit, and it still works! I'm in love with this appliance and really want to keep it, but I am having new countertops installed in my kitchen.

When the installer came by to take measurements, he had no idea what this fold-down unit was, nor any idea of how to remove it. I fear that he may damage it without any specific instruction on how to remove it properly, so I'm hoping someone here on the forum has "instructions" for me to pass along...?

I have attached a photo of what my fold-down unit looks like. There are 4 burners total...I'm not sure if its 1 piece, or two sets of 2. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

cool retro

This was very helpful. I am replacing a cool, functioning Frigidaire Imperial Wall oven and a 4 unit Fold-back Radiantube burner unit. I have the original manual and installation diagram for the oven but burner removal is missing. I hate to toss it if there are folks it would appeal to. Any advice on finding a home or possible value would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Harvey
