Hyacinth in a rooftop: Priceless!

The "electro-galvanized" laundry tub: Can something be galvanized NON-electrically??

I love the temperature choices and how there seems to be only one for both wash and rinse temps: "Hot", "Medium", & "Warm"

I wonder if there's any chance of this coming back into vogue, lol.

When we still had an electric water heater, I used to stand on a little stool in front of the waterfall front Kenmore washer and hold the cold water hose connected to the faucet in the set tubs as we filled the machine manually with rinse water to save money. It did have a suds saver.

I remember those well.

That's the set my Mom had when I was a kid. I was born in '54 and from the time I can remember what she had in the basement it was this set. Seeing that agitator sure brings back memories and that big button in the front to open the doors does as well. I am pretty sure hers had the Suds Saver or one of her washers did at some point because I remember that big tub of hot water waiting on the next load.
