Anyone here use hypnotherapy. I posted this before but it seems to have gotten lost.

I am headed into an important examine and just cant seem to concentrat not matter what I do. I do not know if its laziness, old age or a result of a severe head injury from a car wreck a few years ago.
Any one have an opinion they care to offer?

*Hypno* means *sleep*

I have heard from a friend who also exprienced a head injuries that his thought processes radically changed. So this new attribute may be physiological, not psychological.

IMHO, if hypnotherapy is an option it may be worth a try. Go for reputable, trained, certified therapist.I've been to a hypnoticst /regressionist and had some good results.

OTOH RUN FOR THE HILLS, if you ever hear "There is curse on you that required $5,000 to remove."

Let us know what you decide and what the results are!

MUCH LUCK AND SUCCESS!

My cousin used it to get over some anger issues. It worked for her, she is much more pleasant and her marriage was saved.

Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Hypnosis

can be a very useful learning aid. I won't go into the charlatans, Toggles did already.
Mentioned them, that is. What or whom he has been into, oh, right, back to the point...
When I was a student, our psychology department offered hypnosis on campus. It worked great for me and is definitely worth a try.
Of course, you can also learn what you need to know from good books on the subject, but I suspect that right now that is the last thing you have time for.
Some dentists are trained and competent in this field, by the way.

Personally, I would follow up with a Neurologist before I'd try hypnotherapy. A quick MRI of the brain should tell you exactly what is going on.
BTW, modern MRI equipment is much smaller than it used to be and it's quicker. Most MRI's now can be done in 20 minutes or so, provided you don't move or wiggle.
