I still have to go pick it up and pay for it...

I found a black GE Tall Tub for $299 at Frys Electronics

This is the bisque version of it... I forgot frys sold dishwashers and well they had 14 on clearance... I almost bought a Jenn Air that was $399 but it was the professional looking model and i wasnt sure how well it would hold up..The knob that was on it was rather loose... It was like $1100 new...

So when i get it home, i will post pictures

Dishwasher

GLD6700

If that's the model you bought, you are in for a lot of clean dishes!!!I always used the Sanitary setting because it lengthened the wash and final rinse cycles. That baby is so quiet and you do not have to prerinse anything.I miss mine.It was the best dishwasher, hands down,I ever had.

Its still in a Box LoL.. The floor model is there as well
I cant wait to get it... I have hunted online and called around and no one had a clearance anything.. It just so happend that my computer speakers died and i needed something for the desktop and i whent there for that.. And found the dishwashers..

Pics to come

Oh and i did stop and check out both miele dealers... I did find a bol miele and it was in stainless.. For $1000.... There was a thermador professional $850 and a Bosch 560 for $650..... But they all where in flippin stainless steel..Grrrrs.. I could find the money if i needed

I've been thinking about replacing my dishwasher and have been look at GE. Looking at the manual for this model, and those of you have have one similar tell me if GE is now doing the alternating spray arms or are all of them working at once. The water usage is very low now, something like 1.2 gal per water change. That would lead me to believe that it alternates spray arms, but the cycle times seem short.

GE

I have the GE tall tub also. No even though the water usage is low all arms are moving at once. Most of the water seems to tip toward the back of the tub. But you can hear the splashing and it is powerful! I like the unit and think it's one of the better ones out their.

I don't Know yet Pete. I have a Bosch that works fine, but about a 1 1/2 years ago while cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, I Tripped over the door ( when standing at the sink which is at an angle, the dishwasher is kinda behind you) and bend the door. Had repair come out and look at it. Was told that It was $300 for the door, plus labor. I was at Lowes yesterday and they have 2 GE GLD4400 on clearence. One is in black, and other other in white. I like these as the top rack is bascily flat, for the most part, but the dba is listed a 57. I have been spoiled by my Bosch being so quiet that you don't even hear it running.
