It's like living in Monaco during Spring, or south Florida during the summer. Everyday humid either warm and humid or cool and damp, and rain, rain, rain at least part of the day.
While the temperature has not been overly warm, must run the AC to wring the damp out of the air. So much moisture is removed by the machine that for the first time am having water leaking inside, despite leveling and repitching the thing several times. Apparently there is just that much water being removed the unit cannot get rid of it fast enough. Had to order drain pan treatments from the HVAC store because all that water is starting to moulder.
At this rate NYC maybe under water by Labour Day if this keeps up. Tell you what don't want to hear one darn word about "drought" or "water shortage", or even a increase in water rates.
Line drying is nearly immpossible as the air is so moisture laden things take ages to day (that is if it does not rain), and end up starting to moulder or at least get a whiff about them. Even ironing is a pain because items take ages for the remaining damp to be carried off.
