As some of you may remember, back in the middle of April I found my dream stove, A 1953 edition of the Frigidaire Thrifty Thirty. Well 4 months later I finally got around to giving it a preliminary cleaning and I want to share with you the fantastically gratifying results. First I will share a couple of the original before pictures taken the day I bought the stove and unloaded it in my friends garage in Hagerstown MD and then the pictures of the stoves current shape after my visit to Hagerstown yesterday to work on it. Of course the inside of the oven still needs to be cleaned once I learn how to remove the heat diffuser from the bottom bake element and there is still detail work I want to do on the outside of the stove as well, but I still think the transformation so far is fantastic and I could not be happier!
