Pic 29. This I got from Jamie he called it a Bobble head. I tighten the screws on the right and the buzzing is now gone away.
Jamie you ask what did I use detergent wise in the white clothes video...
I used Surf Powder with Baking soda Half a cup , Half a cup of Borax ,
Two tablespoons of Amway All fabric bleach in water that was at 142f.
I set my boiler to 155f.
Surf is sort of my fav right now low in suds makes good wash liquer only at Giant food markets here anyway in Phila.
Great for top loaders.[this post was last edited: 5/20/2011-09:05]

Darren!

Your videos are absolutely fantastic!

There is something about that 'thumbnail' cap that just mystifies me, and it makes me feel 8 years old again. This cool cap was used on three different KM/WP agitators in automatics that I know of, and I think some wringers too, but I think it looked coolest on the surgilator.

There is also something strangely elegant about the agitator's vanes in your videos where the tub is 2/3 or 3/4 full. I LOVE that.

I am so very glad to see you really enjoying this machine. That's one of the ways that the true coolness of this great website (thank you again Robert!) comes out. You have a machine that means a lot to you, thanks to another great member. Not only that, but had an AW.orger not rescued the washer, it probably would not be being enjoyed as it is today.

Keep enjoying that awesome washer Darren! You've made me put my Grandmother's Whirlpools on my shopping list for sure (like I need another washer, LOL)

Darren

when you get time....scan in the operating manual for the guys, I am sure they would love to see many of the features this and other models of that year had....

like for instance....hot and warm wash selections give a warm rinse.....only cold gives a cold rinse......

some models had an agitator mounted filter pan.....never seen one

higher models had a water level selector, and many more cycles....

still a fun machine just the same.....I am glad your enjoying it!
