but it sure as hell ain't THAT magnificent! If the seller would be willing to knock the three zeros off the end of the price I would say it was worth it. What would make the seller think that is worth the price of a used car anyways? PATRICK COFFEY
What is odd about this auction, is the fact that seller specializes in vintage electronics. Therefor should know very well, that this price is "off the chain" Perhaps he is thinking about the old PT Barnum quote, "There's a sucker born every minute"
RIDICULOUS price!!!My Mom used to have one of these.Wanted it so badly-but she donated it to Sal Army.I was willing to pay the shipping to get hers to me.The unit sounded REALLY nice when a CD player connected to the aux input. Those BiAmps would work well today with 1000Hz Crossover Altec VOTTS-would love to try that!!!!And a separate mounted mag cartridge TT would be fun to try with one of these! Many TT's sold today have built in preamps-so you could plug that into the aux input like the CD machine.
If there are fools stupid enough to throw $5000 + away on a stain. steel frig or commercial looking stove for a residential kitchen.......
$50K on a stupid ford truck or gas guzzling suv....
