I can't tell you how welcome I felt. Here is a group of folks I've known only through this site but never met in person and they made me feel like we had been friends for years.

I am so sorry I missed Sunday. I woke up later than I thought I would. With a 2 1/2 hour drive back to Tucson I figured most would be leaving by the time I got there so I decided to relax for the day.

The food was wonderful and so were the appliances. And just think I won an auction for my first vintage appliance that very night.

Thanks so much for coming, Ralph. It was great to meet you!! And don't worry about Sunday--most of us were running on pure percolator coffee by that morning, so I totally understand. I swore I was going to show up in my robe with my curlers and a cigarette hanging off my lip, fumbling blindly for the coffee :-D

Congratulations on your vintage appliance win!! :-D That's a stroke of luck!

Ralph, it was great meeting you, and that wash-in was definitely the most fun out of all of them. Congrats on the new toy as well, and like I mentioned to Jeff, you won't stop at one! She looks like a beauty. I'll post pictures of the actual machine when I get it. I hope to pick it up this weekend. I hope to install it in my laundry room as part of a second kitchen clean up area. I am very excited about this.
