The hotpoint aquarius 1100 (wm63)

Just what I’ve been looking for, sound machine with out a timer and only needs a new interlock and then I can fit my circuits.

Looks like the faulty interlock shorted out the original
timmer.

Yes I am going to put my own programmes into this machine, I have made some PCB’s ready to fit and also written the programs and put them onto a chip.

The machine is in good condition, all the electrical components and in good order and ready for my circuits except for the doorinter lock which is faulty and a replacement is ordered.

The facer has the switch that I have been looking for and where the timer knob was I will fit a spin speed selector hopefully and the speed controller has a circuit for a spin slider.

Mechanically sound as will, bearings are a double sleeve type and the suspension seems in good order too.

Who bloody designed this soap draw it has taken my over an hour to clean it, bloody stupid shape compartments; it was full of mould and scum, I had to get a tooth brush to get into all the stupid corners and soaked it in bleach for some time to get rid of the mould.

That is my only complaint with is so far.

Having real problems with my internet connection, it's so slow tonight.

Thats going to be great, so youre going to put the spin speed selector in the place of the original program selector. How will you select the washing program?

Thanks for pics, i had a wm64 for 1 year in cream. it was 1200 spin very screechy and loud but it was a replacement as the hoover logic 1200 had the carbons gone after 18 years (no breakdowns ever)but they were stuck in and an engineer also tried without charge.

It washed well 'n' quick in an hour on program E as we always used that or D cottons 60.

Now i have the dyson and the hotpoint was thrown away as it was leaking and once it launched with duvet covers and seized the drum and the drum was on an angle, the lg replaced that which is my grans house. lol.

that pic dyson is my first hotpoint i owned and i told mum ur gonna regret replacing that with that crappy whirlpool aspirations awm328

Hi, to select a program all you have to do is press in the corresponding button and switch on the power, only 4 programs

1 = 95c WHITE COTTON (ECONOMY)
2 = 60c COLOUR FAST (SUPA RINSE)
5 = 40c NON COLOUR FAST (RINSE HOLD)
7 = 40c WOOLENS AND DELICATS (TIME SAVER)

hi hotpoint95622,
Very interested to see how your project turns out, the timers on these WM machines are quite reliable but if you could design your PCB to fit the latest range of hotpoint that go pop every ten minuites and flash silly fault codes then you could be in buisiness.

Good luck and rememeber to stick a video of it on youtube when your done!

cool so the programs on the options buttons.

Anything interesting programmed like spin rinses etc or high fillings.

when its all ready please do videos, no rush take your time.

thanks for info

Wm63 stripe down

I’ve striped down the original wiring harness and taken the tub front plate off ready for some modification.

The Modification

Modification of the front tub plate to accommodate two thermostats.
Unfortunately the stats that I’m using are to big for the knock out already on the plate so I have drilled out and fitted rubber holders to house stats.

Home for the relays

Hopefully going to fit the relays and the transformer that supply 12DC to the main PCD board, to the pump access plat at the back of machine as there is a lot of space here.

Home for the speed control

Hopefully going to fit the speed control PCB in the front right of the machine, this would be its normal position if a mechanical timer was used.
