I hung laundry outside for the 1st time this year.

What is it

that makes outdoor-dried stuff smell so nice and fresh? It happens too when someone comes in from the cold on a breezy day, you can always tell. It can't just be detergent. It has to be something in the air. Ozone?

As for stiff clothes,

What I do when the load are done on the lines, I put the clothes in my Maytag Neptune Gas Dryer, and run "Wrinkle Release" cycle to fluff up them up, and also get rid of any lint that may be on the clothes.

Now, everyone knows a sheet smells better dried outside than baked in a Maytag. She had a dryer, too, a big one. We were forbidden to use it unless there was more an 6 days a rain in the fo'cast.
By the time January came, your hands were cracked and bleedin by hangin out sheets in blizzard. "Use six, pins, not five, Delores, you know how I like them" she would crow from her nest of a bedroom window upstairs. Miss kiss my rear cheeks Vera Donovan could tell a line dried sheet from machine dried one and made us do everything the hard way. That was the fist way she had of being a bitch.

Today was a great day to hang out laundry and vacuum parts.I rescued a Kirby from the side of the road, after a quick wash everything works great.
