I took a sneak peak at a big box in the spare bedroom and lo and behold! Roboraptor! Actually Helen saw me in Radio Shack today playing with the Roboreptile and the Roboraptor and she brought one home.

But, I can't play with it until Christmas! :-(

It's basically a robot dinosaur that walks, can detect sound, is touch sensitive, can detect objects around it, and much more. Almost all 8-12 year olds put this as a must-have on their Christmas lists this year and lasts.

8-12 year olds

I think I fit in that catagory. This thing can eat Aibo for dinner, and is much less expensive. Yeah, it's a robotic dinosaur. There's a newer one, Roboreptile which I also have my eye on.

Helen is going to kill you!!!
Keep the computer far away from her since you PEEKED at your Christmas gift and showed the whole world!

I can see it now......, You are to sit in the corner of the room and you're grounded from doing any laundry for a week!!!

That's ok

Then after a week I'll have LOTS of Permanant Press cycles to do in the Frankenmore.

She knows I know what it is, but the meanie won't let me play with it until Christmas.

I know how it feels

When you know what your present is and it is in the house hidden somewhere and you just want to find it and rip it open! That is what happened with my new iPod. My parents bought it 2 weeks before my birthday and would only let me open it then. It was VERY hard to resist opening it before then, but it was so worth the wait.
