My Maytag ka208 is about 33 years old and it's NEVER been repaired! And that's 4 kids cloth diapers. It's been amazing but I'm sad to say the timer (I'm guessing) is getting worn out because it slips from one cycle to the next, when it should be ending and shutting off. Question..Is this a reasonable repair for a "do it yourselfer" and does anyone have any advice for me. I'd feel sad to give-er-up. Thanks for any help. PS.. this is my first post and I'm happy to have found there are others who love their washing machines!
