Another Packing Complaint:
If you are packing an appliance with foam or starch peanuts, fa goodnitz sake, put it in a plastic bag first!
Pieces of styrofoam will get inside anything that has cooling slots on it if you don't do this, and in the case of vacuum cleaners, whole peanuts will end up inside. So good for appliance motors!
I got my TriStar CXL vacuum from a very fine seller who otherwise gave me exemplary packing and service, but who put the machine into the box without plastic-bagging it against styrofoam intrusion. It took complete disassembly of the machine, including canister and power nozzle, to get it all out.
