Yes it does. Will try spinninng a pair of jeans and towels ASAP. Want to also experiment by putting items already spun in the Maytag Neptune front-loader to see if this pulls out any more water. As mentioned on this board a number of times, it's not only the spin speed but the diameter of the spinning cylinder that affects G-force and total extraction ability! In this case, the bigger the better.

Clothes Retainers

Hey Guys

In the absence of the spin mat/cover the best thing is to cover the load with a light coloured tea towel/pillowcase and tuck it down the sides of the load- should stop anything from escaping over the side!

Do you know what the spinspeed is? And what is the width of the drum? We have plastic clothes retainers here but I don't know if they would fit into that spin basket.
