Just a roast chicken and normal dishes and did not want to resort to the second dishwasher. So here we go I think this machine is pretty jammed full. 2005 KenWhirl. Is it me or is the utensil rack that is being used in this machine from another machine.

I don't recall KenWhirl's having that style utensil rack. But it has been a while and I could be wrong.

Yes, The Utensil Rack is from a KitchenAid. The factory one takes up too much valuable space.

And the Chicken escaped. : )

Eddie, that's not a "stupid" BobLoad.  I think this deserves a new highest level certification--BobLoad extroadinaire extreme.  I'd almost say this is dishwasher abuse.

I should have taken a pic but I had a few items under the skillet in the top rack.

I do like to push a dishwasher's limit. : )

Mike, the machine is a Whirlpool based 2005 Kenmore UltraWash (PowerClean) system.

I love the machine but really hate that upper rack. It is non adjustable but I guess that makes it more of a challenge.

Wow! Very impressive, Eddie. I would have bet the farm that the frying pan facing the glass dish on the right side of the lower rack wouldn't be cleaned. I agree: This load deserves the BobLoad Extreme award.[this post was last edited: 2/24/2018-08:00]

I think I am getting ready to go back to a KitchenAid. The Reverse Rack JennAire is fun, but Extreme BobLoading... It just really can't cut it.

Don't get me wrong it is a good cleaner but when it comes to "finagle loading" not so much.

In reference to the skillet facing the Pyrex... It's all about deflection. The Pyrex is what I roasted the chicken in. Normally it wouldn't get clean. But I make sure there is space for the jets to spray up, then the skillet or plates face inwards toward the Pyrex. So defelction from the skillet blasts the Pyrex.

Then you figure in what goes up must come down. So the water falling back will be washing too. Then with the double arm system, little spaces can accommodate odds and ends. [this post was last edited: 2/24/2018-09:27]

It may be an extreme Bobload, but if my Bosch is any indication, such loading would not get cleaned by a European style dishwasher. The water spray is much more gentle in the Bosch than in my previous Frigidaire. Which I like because light weight plastic items don't get tossed around and then melted onto the heating element. Partly because the heating element is hidden on the Bosch. I also like how much quieter the Bosch is than older American dishwashers. Also I usually don't feel the need to overload the dishwasher here; typically I only run it every 2-3 days during the work week. More often on a weekend if I'm making something complicated. The downside of the Euro design is how much longer it can take to complete a cycle. Up to two hours. However I understand newer American DW's also take a lot longer than the older designs. But they are also much more water and energy efficient, no?

I don't mind the noise. And when you're single, laid off for the winter and have a few glasses of wine... I just have to amuse myself.

When I was a child, I could pend hours on end amusing myself with a card board box when I was forbidden to watch the Washer. : )

Oh, well, due in part to the long wash cycle times, more often than not I run the Bosch overnight while in bed. It's far enough away from the bedroom that I can barely hear it. But vintage KA or Hobart would wake the dead. The flip side is that the older units have much quicker cycles, so can be run to finish before bedtime.

But then they may interfere with TV viewing etc.
