Armed and Somewhat Dangerous

Nick,

I have a small army…

… Namely a handful of people from the shooting club my Dad helps to run…

LOL

There are more members than this! We’ll take your home by force if necessary! ;-)

95*c

Here is a pic of my Whites taking a pounding at 95*c with 2 Surf Cool Fresh tabs...

A smallish load than normal, but im sure the Tacho is set faster than normal as it throws loads like this into almost distribution and washes very aggressively.

Not that I would change it of course.

Re: three posts up

Why the banana?

Lovely machine Nick, this reminds me of my Mum's current washer - WM25. It looks really similar. Does it make strange `spingy' type noises as washes?

I wonder how you liked your Surf whites - I think Surf is the best budget detergent and prefer to use the Tropical scent.

Take care,

Nick

Banana LOL

Cheers Nick

Um yeah the springy noise is very apparent of late, although in the video I made a couple of days ago you cant hear it.
Thats what makes me think the suspension is on its way out.

That and the fact the drum sits diagonally. See pic although it may not show very well.

Surf.... hmmmm it cleans very well I have to admit and if I was skint it would be my whites choice but I dont know if it will maintain whites ocer time like Persil does.

I personally believe there is a major difference between making stain removal which surf does very well and keeping whites white if that makes sense?

Not too sure on the chemical smell of coolfresh but when that 5kg Box of Persil NB goes I plan on trying Tropical Surf. It smells darn great.

However being pretty anal about my coloureds I would stick to Persil CC.

Ok pic is right hand side of door seal all stretched thanks to the drum sitting funny

Suds cake and a half!

Mike both them pics are of the same boil wash. LOL

The yellow handtowel dissaperared under the suds.
as did the green and red teatowel.

I find that such items in the white wash still let me achieve perfect whites.

Um no the Liberator defo has vanished by the looks of it. Im sooo gutted I cant tell you how I feel about becoming so close to owning my dream machine.
Im not going to start a rant about my parents but I sometimes wish they both would just try to understand my passion.

As much as I remeber my Great Nans Liberator TT in action and using a later version in a holiday cottage in Anglesea some 3 years ago, I would love to see the TL Hottie in action. Any vids you have handy?

Much appreciated if you have.

Cheers

Nick

Nick,

I remember that type of drum on my Microtronic. The paddles are very familiar.

Very clean looking machine you have there, Nick. :-)

Carl

PS Only joking about the guns of course. :-)

Water Levels

Here is a pic of the water level on super rinse with a Bob Load of towels.

4 Bath Sheets
4 handtowels
4 Face Cloths

2nd rinse of 4 with 2 Persil CC Gel tabs that were knockin around.

I just re set it for another 2 rinses as it didnt rinse clear by rinse 4.

Matt,

Please pardon my curiosity, but may I ask, what brand of upright vacuum is that?

Is it by chance a Panasonic?

Thanks, Scott

the vaccuum you see is a Samsung. Its a very good vaccuum, i much prefer uprights to cylinder vacs, much easier to use and don't bash into walls like *cough, splutter* Dysons
Heres a glamour shot
