I want to buy a new spin drier.

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I have the sprin drier from Laundry Alternative and have been enjoying it. It is not too expensive and does a great job. The only drawback is having to find the right container to put under the spout. I finally settled on a small wastebasket that I put a weight in the bottom of. You have to watch your feet, too. I kicked it often and a smaller container would slosh. I'm always amazed at how much water comes out! Greg

Charming Spin Dryer

I just purchased the Charming Spin Dryer from www.clothesdrygreen.com. I, absolutely, love mines. It removes so much water from clothing and takes about 20-25 minutes off drying a heavy load of towels/jeans.

Spin Dryer Info

It handles about 1/2 of a large load at a time. Also, it takes about 2 minutes to get the water out of a load. I plan on posting a video on Youtube very soon demonstrating how to use it and how it works.

Wow, that's fast. A video would be awesome! I checked out the website, but no vid was available. How's the quality?

The body and the spin tub is stainless steel. The top is plastic. I think the quality is very good. I've only had it for about a month; but I am very satisfied.

Also, I am very happy about the money and time I am saving by cutting my drying in half. It does remove so much more water from the clothes.

I have one...

...I have the same model that luxflairguy has. I have had it for three years now and no issues. They have a painted metal outer cabinet, a stainless steel inner basket, and a plastic top. It's very well made for the price. They're still available at The Laundry Alternative....mine was about $150 including shipping.

Like everyone said, it takes two or three rounds to spin a full load, but it's only 2-3 minutes each time. The clothes are super dry when finished. A lightweight shirt, put on a hanger is dry in an hour or two, with no help from the electric heated dryer.

On a big wash day, thanks to that little spin dryer, I am done about three hours sooner than before I had it...and the dryer keeps up with a (fast cycle) top loader.

Really moves things along. :)

I have a Pakistani made spin dryer I bought from Laundry Alternative about 4 years ago. Others here had the same model, but theirs blew apart. Ours is still running.
Laundry Alternative has good customer service. We somehow destroyed the rubber thing that holds the clothes in the spinner and we contacted Laundry Alternative to purchase a new one. The sent us a replacement free of charge!

I was going to purchase one from Laundry Alternative, but I read a lot of negative reviews about their customer service. If you google their company, you will find the reviews on various websites. Also,it seem their company has many complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau.

If you choose their spin dryer, I hope you do not have any problems.

Ick. I read a couple of bad reviews on Amazon.com. Their website design leaves a LOT to be desired, and that's usually a reflection on the company.

The health club/spa in Ukiah has something similar in the mens locker room. It is mounted on the wall and plumbing drain. It is used for guys to throw in sopping wet swim suits and extract all the water out. Just takes a couple of minutes. Works really good and is a great idea for a spa or pools.
