I have a GE washer..I think I bought it new in 2003...I would like to be able to see it wash and spin..however it has some kind of swith that stops all motion when the lid is opened. Best I can tell it looks like some type of sensor is on the machine under the lid. Could someone tell me if it's possibe to disconnect the safty switch without hurting the machine. If there's away to disconnect the safty switch I promise I wont' put my hands and arms inside the machine while it's in operation. Thanks!!!!/mark
