So I went to Whole Foods and got some real Buckwheat flour and made some Buckwheat pancakes, loved them as a kid!

Made these with yeast and let them rise over night and baked them in the morning, these are not as good, but I didnt want to wait LOL!

Hans - I haven't had these in years! They look great! I rememeber Aunt Jamima used to make a buckwheat pancake mix, but haven't seen it in a long time. What do you top them with down there in Mocksville? Karo? Maple syrup?

I use a mix that our local bulk food store carries.  I like them, but Bev doesn't.  The mix also has directions for waffles.  I top mine with my cousin Brian's pure maple syrup.
