Thought I'd put word out there as this may be of help to those Selectric owners. If you haven't looked lately, you might want to check on your cycle clutch pulley...you might just find it starting to crack. Up to now there's been no easy fix; the NOS pulleys are cracking as well due to age, however there's a gentleman that is producing new aluminum replacements- just send in your plastic one to have the arbor swapped to the new aluminum version. If I came across a reasonably priced correcting Selectric, I'd probably buy it -- if the rolls of correction tape can still be found.  

 

I like the compact early Selectric models with their rounded edges, but I'm not a fan of correction fluid.  I don't know if correction strips are still on the market.
