I don't know who this woman is, but what is this but click bait with the heading: "Always add this to your dishwasher" for an article about vinegar?

A large percentage of the general population has no clue how dishwashers (or any other appliance) works .... vinegar in the bowl will be gone after the first fill/drain, LONG before the last rinse which leaves hard water all over the dishware.

Which is why when I clean the dishwasher with vinegar . . .

 

. . . I dump in a quart the moment it starts to fill for the main wash.  Those wax-plugged bottles of citric acid-based dishwasher cleaner don't always uncork as they should.
