Well Bob, a complete italian meal can be very huge. Here in Tuscany antipasto can be very large, almost half of the entire meal.Then we happen to have special guests we might serve two or three different "first dish"(primo)and two "second dish"(secondo). After that we might serve fruits salad with ice cream and then dessert,coffee and liquors. Ralph, I'm quite sure you'll find plenty of italian men ready to adapt to your (fine) tastes so I wouldn't be worried about that.
Martin, I can talk by experience as good customer of Miele appliances. Despite the fact their equipment costs usually a little more you will not get a copy of me (nor other bears)with your purchase. You might be lucky enough to have a goodlooking Miele technician at the moment of installation. I wasn't so lucky... :-(
