I took Parker out today to get his nails done and when we were finished I stopped in next door at a Home store replica of Linens and Things. Perusing all the small appliances and such I came across thos Jenn Air Atruzzi blenders and mixers that had been selling over the last couple of years in the plus 200 plus $300 range. Never would I pay that for one even if I did like them. Well they mustn't have been selling because they were all on clearance for $89 & $99 so I grabbed on I liked, walked around a bit and then said, do I really need this made in China piece of junk and I took it and put it back on the shelf and left the store. I've decided I am not going to buy anymore stuff made in China from now on I'll stick with vintage stuff made over here or Europe. While I was in there I checked out the high end KA stuff, every toaster, blender, you name it except for the mixers is made in China. No way I'd pay $300 plus for a KA commercial blender that's made in China

I am disappointed the "Atrezzi" machines are built in China-That appliance brand is under Jenn-Aire-and they are under ----MAYTAG!Maybe with the transfer and downfall of Maytag Attrezzi is taking a hit.I also don't like the idea of KA machines built in China-I have a KA food processor that was built in France-The French one is MUCH better quality than the Chinese ones. I have seen the Chinese KA Food processor-will keep their French made one.For $300-If you shop and hunt around you can get an American made Vita-Mix or Blendtec for a little more than that-and a MUCH better machine.Too-I don't condisder a "commercial" blender built in China to be a true commercial machine.Do the commercial KA machines you saw have a "NSF" label anywhere on them?In most states the machine has to bear that lable before it can be used commercially-OSHA could fine you if the unit doesn't have the lable.

Looked up the "Attrezzi" website and many of their blender jar and mixer bowels and other parts are discontinued!!They have a "Michel Weems" line-both the mixer and blender-now they have an Attrezzi Toaster.
