I promised my boss I'd find her a vintage washer. She is also a historic preservationist with a passion for environmental causes. When I told her about Suds Savers, she REALLY wanted one. I'll send this over to her and she will take good care of it and take full advantage of the suds saver.
What is the difference between an A408 and a 608? I know the 408 is a single-speed machine. Is the only difference a different motor, speed buttons, and maybe a timer?
Dave it's not hard to make a Kenmore, any washer as log as the timer is equipt, in to a sud saver. I did it to my '76 LK. Just a few hose adaptations, a wire from the timer and a wire to neutral, oh the most important parts the suds valve and solenoid. On mine the suds return is at the bottom of the dial. This will only work when the circuit is complete.
