In Search of a Sunbeam MixMaster 12C Chrome-1960's

Hello All,

Hope this email finds you well...
I am in search for my first Retro Appliance for my new house.
A Sunbeam MixMaster 12C Chrome 150W + built in the 1960's in
excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition for general use.

I have seen some items on eBay, but am a bit hesitant about
buying something and getting disappointed because someone
just wants to unload or make a quick buck. Does anyone have
any for sale or have any recommendations??

There's a Yahoo! discussion group called WACEM (We Actually Collect Electric Mixers); its members can probably help you with the process of finding what you want. They're a friendly, helpful bunch. I would suggest that you take your time looking, because after you've been around the WACEM people for a while, you'll learn a lot about what to look for, thus avoiding wasted money spent on a mixer that sounded great on eBay, but turned out to be a dud. Especially helpful will be their tips on how to get a seller to pack a mixer properly; you wouldn't believe how many beautiful mixers are totally trashed in shipment, because the seller didn't know the special requirements for packing one.

there is a mixmaster at our antique shop if you want I could try to get it for you. I might not have the best of luck though. they only want $25 for it and it comes with the Juicer
