Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Good luck on the dryer, hope it doesn't give you any trouble despite being known in the trade as one of the poorest quality machines on the market.

:)

I beg to disagree, those in the trade know how flimsy these machines are, take the lid off and see how easily the 4 seperate pannels move!.

anyway good luck with yours!.

;)

I forgot to mention this dryer also has free 5yr part guaran

Don't be fooled by that. It's parts ONLY. My brother had to pay £180 in callout and labour charges when his Hotpoint washer through a wobbly

Yea Chris

I was told on the phone when I registered that a call out would be £108.50 out of guarantee. They tried very hard to sell me the extended warranty but for the price of the dryer in the first place I just didn't think it was worth it.

My TVF770P also had 5 years parts guarantee, the Labour is not included, however they sent us an info card after around 6 months, although we haven't taken it, it is only £60 per year to extend the guarantee.

Can I just say in reply to a negative comment Betrum, These dryers are very well built, the interiors are the best in a long time, They improved the bearings and axle since the VTD20 era, and the best part they still make all of them here in the Uk in a factory in Gloucestershire, originally known as the Creda - Yate factory.

Glad to see the wave paddle, it such a shame the VTD20 broke just a few months too early, otherwise our TVF770 would have got those too:) They do protect your clothes much better than the straight ones, that we have in our one, and in previous VTD20!

Paul

You will enjoy your new dryer.
They are so basic but so brilliant for use.
My friend has the Hotpoint TVM560 which is just a basic Hotpoint dryer, and it is quick at drying compared to the Zanussi condenser dryer before it.

Best wishes
