Sorry for replying so late.
I live in Nice. I haven't met Koalas but we wrote each other a lot of e mails a couple of years ago when he posted a video of an Indesit front loader. He also posted a picture of a K5 as "image de la semaine" on his website (I suppose the french export model called "Superautomatica")
