Could be a Fourth of July special but there are no "Special Buy" flags on the 2 cheapest.  Samsung has knobs which many gas loyalists might favor and a self-cleaning standard oven.  Frigidaire has a touch control cooktop and convection.  Neither have Air Fry.

Well, if I ever build/buy another house, it won't be all electric. Possibly a gas cooktop or dual fuel range and built-in gas grill on the patio.

As soon as the GVT. rebates kicks in my gas cooktop will belong gone. Don't care  if I have to buy a new set of cookware.

I've got 3 gas cooktops, will keep the junkiest one a KA glass unit from late 80's as a backup in case of an extended power outage. The other 2, a stainless Sieman's and an bisque Jenn Air will go up on CL. I have a Nat. gas WEbber grill with a quick disconnect. I picked up a second gas hose at HD for $8 in the clearance bay so the swap out is easy.

If my single burner standard element stove top should stop working and I can't fix it I will be forced to decide: do I spend another $15 to $20 for a new one OR do I spend twice that for a single burner induction PLUS the adapter so I can use my RevereWare copper pans on it.

I'm excited for the technology.
I really only use stove top maybe once a week. Tonight I'm going to make some refried bean for tacos so I will use it but mainly I cook in the oven or air fry oven which I place OUTSIDE when in use, so the heat and smells stay out there.

I just don't understand why one would want to spend so much $$ on a large appliance one can't even freely move around. No one buys blenders, cel phones, or coffee makers they can't easily move around.
