Here’s a shot of the inside of the compact LG signature combo - the 2016 design. The auto cleaning fins & filter work well, next to no build up on the fins or duct in a 2021 model, and I saw lots of fluff being pumped out It uses LGs own inverter compressor and I didn’t expect it to have a cooling fan for some reason. 3 loads in so far, all 3 perfectly dried. The 3rd load had 1 pair of shorts with a damp pocket but all hoodies were throughly dry 😊. Load 3 included 3 thick pairs of joggers, 6 pairs of heavy shorts, 3 hoodies and 4 t shirts - I used AI wash & dry for that in eco dry mode.

There are actually 3 versions so far that - as far as I am aware - all use more or less the same design base - no drawer, 2 automatic dispensers, Centum tub/drum/suspension.

The LSWD100 was the first generation rated under the old washer dryer label. That might have used standard pumps, not the inverter ones, not sure though.
Then there is the LSWD100E (topic of this thread). That is quadruple A rated on the new label and certainly uses inverter pumps.
The third is the LSWD100X that I think has been released just this year. No idea what they changed - my guess would be an updated processor as the touch interface on the E version was pretty laggy fron what I have seen.

A big issue many reviews of these state is socks getting past the drum into the hose between tub and drain pump, clogging it up.
The reason that tends to happen is the Centum design meaning the distance between tub and drum can fluctuate wildly. And this machine being pretty tightly packed means getting to that hose is quite a task.
The manual for the X also has section advising user to put socks and similar small items into mesh bags for washing to avoid this - pretty certain that passage is absent from the manual for all the othr versions.

Lost socks

Yep, I’ve nearly had a cleaning sponge get pushed into the tub while it was drying. Also not sure if a colour catcher has gone missing… 1 went in but none came out. Not sure if you’ll know but is the tub meant to be fully pushed back by the dryer fan in drying? On mine it sounds like the drum is pushed so far it’s rubbing against the outer tub… I checked for blockages in dryer system but it’s all clear and dries fine. Only thing I haven’t checked is the tub to cabinet hose (seen to the right of the pressure switch on the first pic)
