I just had to share this picture; my partner is getting sick of me gushing about the condition of the inside of this diswasher! Added bonus, the lid of this one should provide me with a template to get a lid for my 1959 'Princess' undercounter that I bought last summer.

Thanks! I am almost afraid to use it! That dreadful sound of a fork falling on it's way to the cutlery basket...

OMG

What's up with this machine ? It's fantastic. More pics if you have them. I use to feel the same way about my KD2-P. But they can handle a fork. Love that Impeller, they really move water as I can recall at 1650 RPM.

yes we want more pics. that tub is perfect and so so nice. that machine has been waiting all its life for you so now you have to let her have a little fun.. my westy is not that shiny but close.. how are the racks in your?? we want more pics

More tub pictures!

Hi all,
I have to zip out of town for a couple of days (work gets in the way of my life way too much!!), but here are some pictures of the racks and the tub, as requested. Enjoy and I'll be checking some time next week.

And check out my rack!

Couldn't resist the bad pun!!

BTW, there is some critter damage to the top tub gasket, so I will have to replace it. Any ideas about what would make a good substitute??

and now the bottom...

The racks seem to have some built-up dirt and/or mold, but it washed right off.

The lower rack and cutlery basket look like the same design as the GE top-loaders that were sold after WWII. What a piece of appliance history!

And, the detergent cup removes to make it easier to remove the racks. They thought of everything back then...

Use self-sticking "closed cell foam".

Bless you, Jimmy! I took the washer cabinet off and extracted the timer; it looks a bit challenging, but I think I am up to it.
BTW, my scans of the ads were awful, so I am asking my partner to try them; it might not be until next week, though.
Thanks again!!
