If anybody is interested, there is an original 1947 instruction manual for Kenmore models 73140 and 73240. This was the deluxe model with a timer!

Hey Jim ... so glad you won that auction! You must have quite the library of instruction manuals! I'm looking for one for my Speed Queen SuperTwin, if you should ever come across it.

Hi Brad,

I have not run across any yet but always have my eyes open for a good deal no matter what brand it is. I do have quite a lot of manuals and brochures. I at one time had them cataloged but have gotten behind of late. Sometimes they are prevalent and other times they are not available. Will keep you posted.
