That TriStar -
Looks like it's a DXL model or maybe an EX-20, one of the last Compact-based machines before the company was sold (to the same people who own Aerus, successors to the old American Electrolux company, which is no relation to the Electrolux company today). The new owners have since redesigned the machine. Many people - myself included - feel that the new machine is not the equal of the old (I have a CXL, the model just before yours). You might be interested to know that a new TriStar goes for about $2600 list price. One like yours or mine still goes for several hundred dollars (like $300-400) if it's in good shape. Mine has all accessories, its original box, and its owner's manual.
